SportsWorld.am was founded in 2025 by Vladimir Gabrielyan.

Until January of this year, the media outlet was available on social platforms and had an official nature.

The founder studied at the Armenian State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports (2022-2023), during which he began to present news from the sports world to the public, and already in early 2025 the media outlet became official.
