YAMAL: GOD'S PLAN IS PERFECT

Barcelona forward Lamine Yamal posted a post on his social media page after the Ballon d'Or award ceremony, congratulating PSG forward Ousmane Dembele on his victory.

"God's plan is perfect: 'You have to climb to reach the top'. I am happy to have won the Copa del Rey (best player under 21 - Championat note) for the second time, and I congratulate Ousmane Dembele on the award and on a great season," the 18-year-old wrote.

Yamal came in second place in the voting for the 2025 Ballon d'Or.

Last season, the Barcelona forward played in 55 matches in all competitions, scoring 18 goals and providing 25 assists. Dembele played in 53 matches in all competitions, scoring 35 goals and providing 16 assists.
