The Brazilian footballer is ready to sign a new contract

Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has confirmed that Brazilian winger Savio is ready to sign a new contract with the club.

"We made it clear from the beginning that we wanted to keep him... Maybe the offer wasn't good enough for the club. But at his age he already played a lot of games last season, he can play on both wings and has incredible speed. He is very good," Guardiola was quoted as saying by Romano's insider on his social media page.

Last season, Savio played in eight matches in all competitions, scoring two goals and providing one assist. According to Transfermarkt.cim, his transfer value is €50,000,000.
