Barcelona are interested in Borussia Dortmund defender Nico Schlotterbeck, whom the club sees as a replacement for Inigo Martinez, who left the Catalan club last summer, Spanish website Sport.es reports.
According to the source, the German club values the 25-year-old at 40 million euros. Schlotterbeck himself would like to move to a team where he can win trophies. Barcelona are also tracking Sporting's central defender Gonzalo Inacio.
