Ahead of the Armenia-Georgia match in the Nations League play-off round, the national team's two fan movements have issued a joint statement.

  The announcement is below.

"The Football Federation of Armenia is taking a dirty path to a major provocation, attempting to turn the tickets available to the fan movements of the Armenian national team for the upcoming principle match of our team into a subject of trade or bargaining. At the moment, the stadium ticket office is responding that the fate of the fan movements' tickets is unknown."

This is despite the fact that, as a result of contacts with the fans of the rival Georgian team, it becomes clear that their fan movement has been given the entire guest section, about 900 seats, as well as an additional 1,500 seats adjacent to the guest section, and in general, there is a demand for several thousand tickets from Georgian fans for the Yerevan game, as a result of which the presence of openly Georgian fans with tickets purchased on the black market is expected in each stand.

In other words, an absolute record presence of the rival team is expected at the stadium, as a result of which the voices of mostly Georgian fans will be heard throughout the game. Our national team's players will not feel that they are playing in their own stadium. It is impossible to imagine a more sad and undignified picture.

By not providing tickets to fan movements, the FFA will cross all possible red lines, sacrificing the national team for the sake of another attempt to cling to the throne.

This style of behavior characterizes their attitude towards the national team and the results of our team.

"If the FFA decides to partially or completely release tickets for fan movement sections for free sale, the entire responsibility for the consequences of the game against Georgia will fall on the shoulders of the FFA leadership."

The match will take place on March 20 at the Vazgen Sargsyan Republican Stadium at 9:00 PM Yerevan time.
