Arsenal midfielder Martin Odegaard suffered a medial collateral ligament injury in his left knee during the Premier League match against West Ham (2:0), the press service of the London club reported.
The Norwegian midfielder will undergo tests and treatment at Arsenal's training centre during the international break, with the aim of getting him back on the pitch as soon as possible.
Odegaard will miss Norway's games against Israel on October 11 and against New Zealand on October 14. The midfielder's return date is not yet known.
The Norwegian has made seven appearances for Arsenal in all competitions this season, providing two assists.
