Bayern Munich and England striker Harry Kane will miss the friendly match against Wales, which will take place today, October 9 and kicks off at 22:45 Yerevan time. This was announced by England head coach Thomas Tuchel.
"Harry will miss the match. He got a bruise in his last game for Bayern. It was too painful for him to kick the ball, so it would be too risky to play tomorrow. We have given him a chance to rest. I am sure he will be ready for the match against Latvia," Tuchel was quoted as saying by Sky Sports. The 2026 World Cup qualifier against Latvia will take place on October 14.
Kane has played 109 matches for the national team, scoring 74 goals.
