The President of the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA), Armen Melikbekyan, spoke about the performances of the national team in an interview with UEFA .
"For me, the most important thing is the quality of the game, which has improved for us. Of course, the result is extremely important, but for teams from small football countries, improving the quality of the game can be decisive. We have a new coach, we are building a new team," said Melikbekyan.
Let us remind you that the Armenian national team is in last place, 4th place, with 3 points after 4 matches in Group F of the 2026 World Cup European Zone Qualifiers.
The team led by Yeghishe Melikyan will host the Hungarian national team on November 13, and three days later will conclude the qualifying tournament with an away match against Portugal.
