Real Madrid hosted Catalan club Barcelona in the tenth round of the Spanish La Liga. Kylian Mbappe and his teammates have won four of their last five La Liga matches and suffered one defeat, including a 2-5 away defeat to Atletico Madrid in the seventh round of the domestic championship. Barcelona have won three and suffered two defeats.
In the first half, the Madrid club showed active football and increasingly had possession of the ball. French striker Kylian Mbappe did a great job. He participated in the organization of attacks and opened the scoring in the 22nd minute of the match, taking advantage of a pass from Jude Bellingham. The "Royal" club did not stay in the status of the winner for long, in the 28th minute, as it often happens in classics, the Catalans equalized the score thanks to a goal by Fermin Lopez.
Two minutes before the end of the first half, Juice Bellingham scored a goal in addition to his own assist (2:1). In the second half, the “Serbian” earned a penalty kick, but 26-year-old Mbappe failed to convert it. In the rest of the period, they failed to do more.
Thus, Real Madrid ends its losing streak in El Clasicos and continues to lead the La Liga standings with 27 points, while Barcelona is in second place with 22 points.
