Chelsea are interested in signing Barcelona's 33-year-old goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Sport.es reports, citing journalist Sascha Tavolieri.
According to the source, the German goalkeeper is open to leaving the Catalan club because he understands that it will be difficult for him to compete for a place in the starting lineup. At the same time, Ter Stegen does not want to miss the preparations for the 2026 World Cup.
It is noted that Barcelona allows the player to move to another team, either on loan or as a full transfer.
Ter Stegen is currently recovering from a back injury. His current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is €8 million.
