Lukaku will return from injury this week

Napoli's 32-year-old Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku, who has not played since pre-season due to injury, will return to the team this week, journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reported on his official website.

The striker suffered a serious injury to his left hamstring in a friendly match against Olympiacos on August 14.

Lukaku joined Napoli from Chelsea in the summer of 2024 for a fee of €30 million. Last season, he was the team's top scorer in Serie A, scoring 14 goals. He also led the team in assists with 10 goals. He has not played a single competitive match this season.
