Napoli midfielder Kevin De Bruyne will be out of action for the Italian club until at least February due to injury, La Gazzetta dello Sport reports. The midfielder suffered the injury in the eighth round of Serie A against Inter.
Earlier, the official website of the reigning Serie A champions reported that the Belgian had undergone successful surgery in Antwerp after tearing the biceps femoris muscle in his right thigh. De Bruyne will now begin his rehabilitation period.
The Belgian midfielder has played 11 games for the Italian club in all competitions this season, scoring four goals and providing two assists.
