Liverpool manager Arne Slott has commented on forward Mohamed Salah reaching 250 goals for the club. Liverpool beat Aston Villa 2-0 in the 10th round of the English Premier League. Salah scored in first-half stoppage time.
"It's incredible. It's almost unbelievable that a player scores 250 goals for one club. You don't see that often in football anymore. And I think apart from the goal he scored today, he played very well. When we needed to play long balls, we mostly played in his direction and he was good at catching the balls. I also liked that he not only did a great job in attack, but also helped the team in defence. After scoring the first goal, Salah helped Van Dijk in midfield. The combination of these factors led me to like his performance today. And of course, it's especially important that he scored his 250th goal," Slot told the club's official website.
