Catalan giants Barcelona are interested in signing Strasbourg's 23-year-old striker Joaquin Panicelli, Mundo Deportivo reports.

According to the source, the Blaugrana are impressed with the Argentine player's performance this season, as he has scored nine goals in 10 matches in the French championship.

Panicelli has made 13 appearances in all competitions this season, scoring 10 goals. His current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2030. According to Transfermarkt, the 23-year-old has a market value of €12 million.
