England national team manager Thomas Tuchel has said he will not sing the national anthem until he has earned the right to do so by leading the team to success.
He stressed that he was proud to be at the helm of the England team, but wanted to earn the trust of the fans, players and media before singing the anthem.
"It's a powerful, emotional and meaningful anthem. I have to earn the right to sing it with results, the right work and team building," Thomas Tuchel was quoted as saying by The Times.
