Eduard Spertsyan: "That's how it happens in football"

After the Portugal-Armenia (1:9) match in the final round of Group F of the 2026 World Cup European Zone qualifying round, Armenian national team captain Eduard Spertsyan lamented the huge defeat.

"Everything is ahead, that's how it is in football, but matches like this give us motivation to develop. We don't give up and continue to work," said Spertsyan.
