In the final match of the 14th round of the Fastex Premier League, Armen Gyulbudaghyants' CSKA won 3:2, hosting Charentsavan's Van.
The “Army” played a good match, but the score was opened by Erik Daniel Rodriguez. In the 28th minute of the match, CSKA’s 19-year-old Petik Manukyan equalized the score (1:1). At the end of the first half, Vyacheslav Afyan and his teammates could have taken the lead, but the VAR system intervened and canceled it. In the second half, Lucas Kafe put his team ahead (2:1). Looking at the tournament table, CSKA needed to return home with three points in today’s match. Armen Gyulbudaghyants’ boys restored the score balance for the second time as a result of Grenik Petrosyan’s effective action (2:2), after which they rushed to victory, stopping the series of defeats. Until the end of the regular time, the match went according to the guests' scenario, but in the seventh minute of added time, the Charentsavan club was awarded a penalty kick, which was flawlessly executed by 39-year-old defender Hrayr Mkoyan (3:2). The Armenian football player was also flawless in the away game against Shirak, where Van won 3:2 over Gyumri.
