After the 5th round of the Champions League group stage, the prestigious Goal portal has updated the ranking of players who are candidates for next year's 2026 Ballon d'Or award. It continues to be headed by Bayern Munich's English striker Harry Kane, who has scored 29 goals this season.
Real Madrid's French forward Kylian Mbappe is in second place. Manchester City's Norwegian forward Erling Haaland completes the top three. Nuno Mendes, Pedri, Bukayo Saka and Vinicius have dropped out of the top ten since October, replaced by Declan Rice, Michael Oliseh, Estevao and Luis Diaz.
