Liverpool players demand the resignation of the head coach

Liverpool captain Virgil van Dijk and other key players have backed winger Mohamed Salah, who has revealed his troubled relationship with manager Arne Sloot. The players are demanding the Dutchman's dismissal, according to British journalist James Watland.

Salah had previously accused Slot of, among other things, disrespect. Arsene Wenger took charge of Liverpool in the summer of 2024. Under his leadership, the Reds won the Premier League title in the 2024/25 season.

 The Merseysiders are ninth in the Premier League standings with 23 points after 15 games.
