Real Madrid's club television has criticized the work of referee Alejandro Quintero Gonzalez after the match of the 15th round of the Spanish La Liga, in which the "creamy" lost to Celta (0:2).
"The actions of Quintero Gonzalez were outrageous. He acted as was customary under the Negreira regime to obtain the rewards he believed were his, whether it was international status or appointments to participate in important national games. He was completely inconsistent and too lenient towards Celta's waste of time. The eight-second rule is a disgrace, a mockery of the fans, the players and everyone else. This is not the level of refereeing that claims to be one of the best in the world," AS TV reporters quoted him as saying.
After 16 matches in the Spanish league, Real Madrid is second in the standings with 36 points. Barcelona leads the standings with 40 points.
