Real Madrid head coach Xabi Alonso has spoken about the health of his team's midfielder Franco Mastantuono.
"Mastantuono is gradually returning to his fitness after a groin injury. He needs to work harder and train harder. He is getting closer to the game. He is being included in the team, so he is available," Alonso was quoted as saying by the club's official website.
Franco Mastantuono has been playing for Real Madrid since August 2025. The Whites paid 45 million euros to Argentine side River Plate for the young player. He has made 12 appearances for Real Madrid in all competitions, scoring one goal.
