Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta commented on his team's performance after their 2-1 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers in the 16th round of the Premier League.
"We felt relieved, but we also understood that we had to win with more confidence. In the second half we had to play faster, and I think we did that. However, there were two or three minutes when we were completely passive. That is far from the level we need to play against a team that didn't have a single shot on goal. We are happy with the victory, but we definitely need to improve in this area."
I have to give Wolves credit. I knew it was going to be a tough game, but we made it even tougher by conceding a goal. That's unacceptable.
"Every time you win in the Premier League you should be happy. But today we created our own difficulties and that's the main lesson," Arteta said, according to Sky Sports.
