Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has praised Everton's progress under David Moyes and expressed his admiration for the team's new stadium after the 17th round of the Premier League. Arteta spent six and a half years at Everton, playing under Moyes from 2005 to 2011.
"Yes, this is incredible. If I had to choose a venue, it would probably be this one. I would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate everyone at Everton and everyone who has worked on creating this incredible stadium."
"I was amazed. I didn't expect to see such a beautiful place and the atmosphere they created, so thank you all," Arteta was quoted as saying by the club's official website.
After 17 rounds, Arsenal leads the Premier League table with 39 points. Everton is in 10th place with 24 points.
