Chelsea midfielder Alejandro Garnacho has reflected on the defeat to Arsenal (2:3) in the first leg of the League Cup semi-final. Garnacho scored two goals. The return leg will take place on February 3.
"I always do my best and today I helped the team by coming on as a substitute. Every striker wants to score, but my job is to try to help the team. I tried hard today and it wasn't enough, but it's not over yet. The game is open, the difference is only one goal."
"We know how difficult it is to play at the Emirates, but we know what kind of squad we have and what we are capable of. We have to go there and give it our all."
"Liam Rosenior is a good guy. He's changed a few things, but we're still the same team and the same squad. We're all in this together," Garnacho was quoted as saying by the London club's official website.
