"A difficult road awaits." What task has Melikyan received?

The head coach of the Armenian national team, Yeghishe Melikyan, was a guest on the "Chronicle" program of "Kentron" TV company.

 Answering questions, the Armenian specialist touched on the team's goals and chances in the Nations League.

"We want to succeed in the Nations League. That's what I took over in the summer, building on the experience of the autumn, analysing the situation and working to improve our team play. All of this should bring us closer to our ultimate goal."

"The primary goal is to take first place in the Nations League group. It will not be easy, a difficult path awaits, but I consider it realistic. If in the fall it was almost impossible, taking into account the competitors (Portugal, Ireland, Hungary), then achieving success in the Nations League is possible, although a lot of work will be required," said Melikyan.
