Urartu FC player dies

Vahan Petrosyan, a student of Yerevan's Urartu FC Academy, has died, the club's press service reports.

"It is with deep sorrow that we inform you that Vahan Petrosyan, a student of the Urartu Academy, has passed away." 

Vahan began his football career at the age of 6 in the youth teams of the Urartu Academy, and then played for Urartu-2. 

We express our condolences to his family and relatives.

Rest in peace, Vahan. 

You will forever remain a part of Urartu,” the club said in a statement.
