Oleksandr Zinchenko is one step away from moving to a new club

Ajax have been given permission to sign Arsenal left-back Oleksandr Zinchenko, who spent the first half of the season on loan at Nottingham Forest, Sky Sports reports.

According to the source, the Amsterdam club will continue the medical examination of the 29-year-old Ukrainian footballer and will soon sign a six-month contract. The parties plan to discuss Zinchenko's future this summer.

It was previously reported that Nottingham Forest intend to terminate the player's loan early. Zinchenko has made ten appearances this season without scoring a goal.
