The opening ceremony of the 25th Winter Olympic Games will take place at the San Siro Stadium in Milan on February 6. Armenia will be represented by five representatives, the Armenian Olympic Committee (KGO ) reports .
We present to you the schedule of performances of Armenian athletes.
The first Armenian representatives to enter the fray will be skiers. On February 7, skier Katya Galstyan will compete in the 20 km skiathlon (classic/freestyle), on February 12 - in the 10 km interval (freestyle). On February 8, Mikael Mikaelyan will compete in the 20 km skiathlon (classic/freestyle), and on February 13 - in the 10 km interval (freestyle).
Alpine skier Harutyun Harutyunyan will compete in the giant slalom on February 14 and the downhill on February 16.
The figure skating pair Karina Akopova-Nikita Rakhmani will compete in the short program qualification round on February 15. The free program qualification round will take place on February 16.
Let's add that 116 sets of medals will be contested at the 25th Winter Olympic Games. Competitions will be held in 16 sports.
