Inter Milan footballer and former captain of the Armenian national team Henrikh Mkhitaryan has said which club he wants to end his professional football career with.
"My desire is to finish at a high level at a club like Inter. At the moment I'm happy here, I'd like to continue, and then we'll see what happens. Let's wait until the end of the season, and then we'll see if I stay or leave," Mkhitaryan was quoted as saying by Gianluca Di Marzio's website.
The 36-year-old Armenian midfielder is a regular in Simone Inzaghi's preferred trio alongside Nicolo Barella and Hakan Calhanoglu. As of March 1, 2025, Mkhitaryan has made 92 appearances for the Italian club. His current contract with the Nerazzurri runs until the summer of 2026.
