Lada head coach Pavel Desyatkov spoke about the loss to Traktor (2:4) in the Kontinental Hockey League regular season game.
"Our second game was a carbon copy, home and away. We should have scored a few points, but due to individual actions of some players, which, unfortunately, are very difficult to predict, such mistakes can happen. Especially among experienced players who have played in the KHL for quite a long time and in terms of time. So, strangely, we had this problem here."
"We just talked about it in the locker room and explained it to the guys, but we've been doing it like that for two games in a row. But I think we fought well today, equalized the score, maybe not quite according to the game, and held on. We knew that our opponents were skilled, of course, a pretty big team. I can't help but praise the guys for their efforts and desire, but the mistakes made at the end of the game need to be corrected," Desyatkov was quoted as saying by the Lada press service.
