Knutsen: "We are very familiar with Mkhitaryan's game"

During the pre-match press conference, Budo-Glimt head coach Kjetil Knutsen made a special mention of the Inter midfielder, highly appreciating the Armenian footballer's qualities and rich experience.

"We are very familiar with Mkhitaryan's game, as we have had many opportunities to compete against him in the past. Although he is no longer young, his game dynamics and intensity remain at an impressively high level. We are clearly aware of his strengths. It is quite possible that in tomorrow's game he will be the link that will make a difference on the field. Let's wait and see."

When we take the ball away, they become vulnerable, and that is one of our main opportunities. The other option is to control the ball and force them to defend. If we correctly determine the moments to switch to quick counterattacks and build long positional attacks, the game can be very interesting," the Norwegian specialist emphasized.

Let us add that according to the results of the Champions League group stage, the Norwegian club is in 23rd place in the standings with 9 points, while Inter was in 10th place with 15 points.

The final of the current competition will be held on May 30, 2026, at the Puskás Arena in Budapest.
