Former defender and team captain of the Armenian national team, Sargis Hovsepyan, posted a post on his social media page regarding the current leadership of the Armenian Football Federation.
“The current FFA staff, led by Armen Melikbekyan and Armen Nikoghosyan, should apologize for delaying their resignation.
The bad events and recorded results during your administration are facts, everyone has seen them, and it is reality.
It's time for everyone to admit that they made mistakes and failed in the management of football because it was run by unprofessional people.
You have had dozens of months, years, but no positive changes have occurred, the exact opposite has happened, and if it was possible to keep the honor of Armenian football high in a short time, why didn't it happen?
Accept reality, resign, leave for the benefit of Armenian football,” Hovsepyan wrote.
