Ahead of the match against Getafe in the 28th round of La Liga, Atletico Madrid head coach Diego Simeone addressed the rumors about key players leaving the club.
"We won against Club Brugge and everything depended on Oblak saving it. We won against Barcelona 4-0 and everything was attributed to Griezmann leaving. We won against Tottenham 5-2 and everything depended on Julián Alvarez."

After 27 matches in the Spanish La Liga, Atletico has 54 points and is in third place in the standings.
