Alexandra Grigoryan nominated for the title of the best weightlifter of 2025

20-year-old Alexandra Grigoryan, a member of the Armenian women's weightlifting team, has been included in the official list of athletes competing for the title of the best female weightlifter in Europe in 2025.

 The European Weightlifting Federation reports that a total of ten weightlifters are competing for this prestigious award. The name of the best will be revealed through the results of a special vote.

 The year 2025 was marked by a number of major achievements for the Armenian athlete: Grigoryan was declared the European Youth Champion, stood on the third step of the podium at the World Youth Championship, and also became the silver medalist of the European Senior Championships. It should also be recalled that according to the results of the previous season, she was already recognized as the best young weightlifter in Europe.

Now the Armenian is actively preparing for another important competition: the European Championships to be held in Batumi, Georgia, from April 19 to 26, where she will compete in the 58 kg weight category.
