Barcelona right-back Jules Kunde may change his club registration, reports Mundo Deportivo.
Liverpool, Manchester City and Chelsea are all interested in the Frenchman. In particular, the Reds hope to strengthen their defense with a more reliable defender, as Jeremy Frimpong is more of an attacking player. According to the source, the Reds are ready to offer around 80 million euros for Kunde.
The Catalan club highly values the 27-year-old player and would like to keep him in the team, but they understand that it would be difficult to meet the financial conditions in the event of a serious offer.
If the transfer goes through, Barcelona intend to use the money to strengthen their squad. Atletico Madrid striker Julián Álvarez and Inter Milan defender Alessandro Bastoni are among the candidates. To replace Kunde, the Blaugrana are considering extending the contract of João Cancelo or signing Juventus defender Andrea Cambiasso.
Kunde has been with Barcelona since July 2022, when he joined from Sevilla. He has scored three goals and provided four assists in 40 appearances this season.
