"Pyunik" defeated "Shirak" in an away game and topped the table

As part of the 20th round of the Fastex Premier League, Pyunik faced off against Shirak in an away game. Both teams participated in the Armenian Cup, where they reached the quarterfinals and were eliminated from further competition. Pyunik was eliminated by Noah, and Shirak by Ararat-Armenia.

At the start of the match, Pyunik showed active football and in the first half had more possession of the ball, played by its own rules, took the initiative, had more scoring opportunities, but was unable to turn them into an advantage.

In the second half, Pyunik did not let their guard down, Lucas Villela opened the score in the 75th minute of the match (1:0) and lifted his team to first place in the online standings.

After the missed goal, the Gyumri team tried to restore the balance of the score, but Artak Oseyan's boys were chasing Rafik Misakyan and his teammates for a double point. Thus, "Pyunik" defeated "Shirak" by bringing the number of points to 41 and leading the tournament table, "Shirak" is in ninth place with 10 points.

In the next round, Edgar Malakyan and his friends will compete in a home game against Ararat-Armenia, while Shirak will visit CSKA.
