The first round of the Boxing World Cup will be held in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, from April 20-26.
The Armenian Boxing Team will also compete in the tournament. The women's team includes Anush Grigoryan (51 kg) and Elida Kocharyan (65 kg). The men's team will feature Rudolf Garboyan (50 kg), Zhirayr Sargsyan (55 kg), Artur Bazeyan (60 kg), Artur Sahakyan (65 kg), Ararat Harutyunyan (70 kg), Narek Manasyan (90 kg) and David Chaloyan (+90 kg).
The Boxing Federation of Armenia reports that the team is holding a training camp in Yerevan and will depart for the competition on April 17.
