Paris Saint-Germain's Russian goalkeeper Matvey Safonov did not make a single save during the 2-0 win over Liverpool in the first leg of the 2025/26 Champions League quarter-finals, according to Sofascore.
The goalkeeper completed 56% of his passes (10/18), with one of his nine passes being accurate (11%). He also made one interception and won two of two aerial duels in his own penalty area. He also had two tackles. Safonov's goalkeeping prevented zero goals in the match, according to xGoT, as there were no shots on goal.
This match was Matvey's second consecutive clean sheet in the Champions League. He has kept 15 clean sheets in 35 matches during his career with the Parisian giants.
Safonov joined PSG in the summer of 2024. His current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2029. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is €22 million. This season, he has played 18 games, conceded 18 goals and kept eight clean sheets.
