The Blues' sporting director is preparing a plan to extend the contracts of forwards Lamine Yamal and Rafinha, as well as defender Jules Kunde, according to Mundo Deportivo.
According to the source, the management of the "Catalan" club intends to extend the contract with Yamal until 2030 next summer, when he will turn 18. The Spaniard's current employment contract is scheduled to expire in 2026.
The Catalan club plans to extend Rafinha's contract by two to three years. The player's current contract is set to expire at the end of the 2026/2027 season.
Despite the desire to extend Kunde's contract, Hansi Flick's Barcelona do not see it as an urgent matter. The opposite situation applies to Frenkie de Jong, whose contract expires in 2026. The team wants to keep him, but the player must prove his usefulness for the rest of this season.
