Two matches took place in the quarterfinals of the Armenian Cup. Fastex Premier League leaders Noah defeated Gandzasar 4:0 (7:0) at their home stadium.
The current vice-champion team featured Zaven Khudaverdyan, Mateus Ayas, Eraldo Chinari, and Bruno Almeida.
The Portuguese specialist gave the Armenian national team goalkeeper Ognjen Chancharevich a rest in this match, entrusting the goal to 20-year-old Artur Konglyan. In the first match of the confrontation, our national team defender and team captain Hovhannes Hambardzumyan, Mateus Ajas and Bruno Almeida were effective for the Yerevan club.
