OFFICIAL: Lasha Talakhadze is the President of the Georgian Weightlifting Federation

An electoral congress was held in the Georgian Weightlifting Federation on March 3, where three-time Olympic champion Lasha Talakhadze was elected president. The official website of the First Channel of Georgia reports this.

According to the source, Talakhadze will head the Georgian Weightlifting Federation for the next four years.

There was no change in the position of Secretary General of the Federation: it was once again entrusted to Rusudan Muradashvili.

The former weightlifter also introduced his teammates, the three vice presidents: Kakhi Kakhiashvili, Irakli Turmanishvili, and Nodar Sirbilashvili.
