The comeback of the Gyumri people in the "Republican"

In the opening match of the 25th round of the Fastex Premier League, Gyumri's Shirak won an away game against Yerevan's Ararat.

The Yerevan club last celebrated a victory in September 2024, defeating Portuguese Rui Motta's "Noah".

For the team led by Tigran Yesayan, 20-year-old Mamadou Doumbia opened the scoring in the 23rd minute of the match.

 26-year-old Seryozha Urushanyan and 25-year-old Rafik Misakyan stood out for their effective play in the Gyumri team.

In the next round, Rafael Nazaryan's boys will face Charentsavan's "Van" at home, while "Ararat" will travel to "West Armenia".

 After this match, Shirak brings its points tally to 28 and occupies sixth place in the tournament table, while Ararat is eighth with 20 points.
