The Armenian freestyle wrestling team finished its performance at the European Championship with two silver and one bronze medals. Our team took 5th place in the team standings.
The silver medalists from the Armenian team are European 2024 champion Arman Andreasyan and three-time world bronze medalist, four-time European champion Arsen Harutyunyan, while the bronze medal was won by European champion, world championship bronze medalist, 65 kg weightlifter Vazgen Tevanyan.
Let's add that Greco-Roman wrestlers will take to the mat on April 11. Led by Armen Babalaryan, Manvel Khachatryan (55 kg), Karapet Manvelyan (60 kg), Karen Aslanyan (63 kg), Slavik Galstyan (67 kg), Shant Khachatryan (72 kg), Malkhas Amoyan (77 kg), Samvel Grigoryan (82 kg), Karen Khachatryan (87 kg), Artur Aleksanyan (97 kg), David Ovasapyan (130 kg) will leave for the competition.
