European Championship: Alexandra Grigoryan wins silver medal

At the European Weightlifting Championships in Moldova, 20-year-old Alexandra Grigoryan from Gyumri won the European Championship silver medal for the second year in a row in the women's 55 kg weight category with a combined result of 202 kg.

    It should be noted that last year in Sofia she registered a result of 81 kg in the snatch, and here she achieved 85 kg. The gold medal goes to France. Our athlete overtook Garanz Rigo in the combined event.

   Today, the men will take to the stage. Armenia is represented by one representative, 61 kg Garnik Cholakyan.
