Benfica want to loan Felix from Chelsea. The midfielder is expected to sign a contract in June, before the World Cup. Joao Felix could return to Benfica.
The Portuguese club is trying to sign the 25-year-old midfielder ahead of the Club World Cup, according to Record. The Eagles want to loan the player from Chelsea and plan to complete the deal in the first transfer window, which opens in early June.
Felix was in the Benfica system from 2015 to 2019, after which he moved to Atletico for 127 million euros.
The Portuguese is currently on loan at Milan. He has made 9 appearances in the current Serie A season and has not been particularly effective.
