The Manchester United striker suffered a thigh injury during the Premier League match against Newcastle (1:4). 

Manchester United manager Ruben Amorim has confirmed that Zirkzee will not play again this season. 

"Joshua is out for the rest of the season, he won't play again. Let him prepare for next season. It's tough, especially now. Now he has to prepare for recovery," Amorim said. 

The 23-year-old Dutchman has played 32 games in the current Premier League season, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist.
