"Arsenal will go through, I'd bet on it if it was my life. Real Madrid are a mysterious club, but they looked confused, they'll score more goals." Ferdinand on the Champions League match
Rio Ferdinand believes Arsenal can beat Real Madrid in the Champions League.
The Gunners defeated the Madrid team (3:0) in the first leg of the quarter-final of the tournament. The return match will take place today at 22:00 Moscow time.
"If Madrid scores first and there's about half an hour left in the game... Hurray, I'll be behind you [Arsenal].
I think Arsenal will overcome, trust me. I believe. I think there will be a lot, they have a lot of [heads]. I thought the Madrid team looked a bit disjointed, without the right balance in the team and formation, and they were conceding goals left, right and in the middle.
[ Bukayo ] Saka's return was a big deal and it changed everything for Arsenal. If Saka wasn't there, I don't think they would have won 3-0.
I support Arsenal: If it were my life, I would bet on Arsenal going through, no problem.
"I'll just say: Real Madrid are a mystical club. If Arsenal go further, it will be a different story. But I still think they will overcome because they will score," the former Manchester United defender said on Rio Ferdinand Presents.
