Cole on Arsenal-PSG: 'I wouldn't give them a chance if they were in the Premier League race' But they are focused on the Champions League and full of energy. The stumbling block will be the Paris match'
Joe Cole believes Arsenal can beat PSG in the Champions League.
The Gunners have reached the semi-finals of the competition after beating Real Madrid (3-0, 2-1) in two legs. There they will face PSG.
"This is an absolutely brilliant night for Arsenal and Mikel Arteta. The club is in a fantastic moment.
The Premier League is over [for them], but they are fully focused on this tournament. They played PSG before [in the Champions League group stage], so there is no uncertainty here.
The sticking point for Arsenal is the return leg in Paris, I think that's very important, especially now that the away goals rule has been lifted. I think that was a huge advantage for the team.
But there's nothing to take away from Arsenal tonight, it's such a fantastic night. They were absolutely brilliant to come to Madrid and do it at the Bernabeu.
"If Arsenal were in the (Premier League) title race, I wouldn't give them a chance. But the fact that they are full of energy and focused on the Champions League gives them a chance," the former England midfielder told TNT Sports.
