Pep Guardiola believes Manchester City only needs reliable players.
Guardiola prefers to work with a small number of first-team players and, despite a number of injuries this season, he has no plans to change his philosophy.
"We have a big squad now and to have one or two players not even able to go to Goodison Park is terrible."
For them, everything that happens makes no sense, they don't even make it to the bench. They stay at home and think, "What am I doing here?"
The main thing is to analyze which of the players will be more reliable. This is very important. If the player is reliable, then we don't need anything more.
If a player is only available to play 20-25 percent of the games, as is the case this season, we may need another player in that position.
"The whole question is next season. If we have unreliable players and they are going to stay at the club, then we need to strengthen the squad. But we need to find a balance," said Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola.
