The Leeds chairman is in talks with manager Daniel Farke over reports the German could be sacked despite returning to the Premier League.
Despite leading Leeds back to the Premier League this season, Farke faces the risk of losing his job as the Elland Road club are concerned about their record in the top flight. While he won the Championship twice with Norwich, they were relegated once and he was sacked months after leading them back to the top flight.
The 48-year-old will soon learn his fate, as The Guardian reports that the club's chairman will travel from San Francisco to discuss the manager's situation. He will see the team out against Bristol City on Monday before meeting Farke this week.
Marathe represents the nearly 100 investors who make up 49ers Enterprises, the consortium that owns the club, and it is the president who will have the final say. Marathe will listen to Farke's ideas for next season before the club approves them over the summer.
